YouTube Statistic Sites - Are They Accurate?

Ever wondered how much those popular YouTube make? Well, I came across a website called Social Blade recently and found it intriguing. Social Blade is a statistics website that claims to allow "...you to track your statistics and measure growth across multiple social media platforms including YouTube, Twitch, and Instagram." But just how accurate is Social Blade?

Disclaimer: to be fair, I've only tested the stats from SocialBlade.com and what they claim are the statistics for my YouTube channel, against what YouTube tells me from their stats. Maybe other channels or users would experience different results.

Is Social Blade accurate? Let's go through some of my stats.

Total Subscriber count: Accurate.

Total Video Count: Wrong.

Estimated Monthly Earnings: It was somewhere in the zone, however it's a large zone they estimating between

Estimated Yearly Earning: It was somewhere in the zone, however it's a large zone they estimating between

Views For The Last 30 Days: Wrong.

Subscribers For The Last 30 Days: Accurate

Daily Video View Count: Very wrong

Out of the seven stats I looked at, 2 were correct. 3 were wrong. And 2 where only correct because they give a very large estimate zone. So, in conclusion, I'd give Social Blade a Total Grade: F. If I was using Social Blade for my stats instead of YouTube, I'd be highly misinformed.

What about other sites? I then went and tested the "YouTube Money Calculator (YouTube Earnings Estimator)" by InfluencerMarketingHub.com

Again, disclaimer, I've only tested the stats from InfluencerMarketingHub.com and what they claim are the statistics for my YouTube channel, against what YouTube tells me from their stats. Others' results may vary.

Lets look at the results:

Number of total Subscribers: Accurate

Number of Total Video Views: Wrong

Total estimated earnings: Wrong

Average Earnings per Video: Wrong

In conclusion, for me, this 'YouTube Money Calculator' also fails to match or come close to YouTube's stats.
