Apple Releases Critical OS X NTP Security Update For Mac - Install This Update Now

Apple today has issued a critical security update for OS X which they recommend all Mac users install as soon as possible. 

The security update patches an exploit with the Network Time Protocol (NTP) service that could allow a remote attacker to be able to execute arbitrary code. 

The update is available to all Mac users running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8, OS X Mavericks 10.9 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.  

To update your Mac and install this NTP security patch, open the App Store application, click the Updates button on the navigation bar, then find the Security Update from the list of available updates on the page and click the "UPDATE" button. The file size seems to be small and doesn't seem to require a restart to your Mac.
