Solve Math Equations with Your iPhone's Camera - PhotoMath FREE iOS App

You know that episode of The Big Bang Theory where Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Raj try making a handwriting-recognition differential equation smartphone app that can solve problems just by taking a photo? Well it seems like someone has made a similar math equation solving app for real! Except this one can't read hand-writing, only printed text. And this one only "supports basic arithmetics, fractions, decimal numbers, linear equations and several functions like logarithms."

A new FREE app on the iTunes App Store can solve your math equations, and even show you how to solve them - just by using your camera.

You no longer need to try typing out those math problems anymore thanks to PhotoMath by PhotoPay Ltd, the app that they claim is the, "world's first camera calculator". Is that true? I don't know. It's seems like one of those things that there would of been one already. I guess not.

You can use PhotoMath to solve math problems. All you need to do is point your iPhone's camera on the equation, get in the frame, and PhotoMath will display the result.

PhotoMath can also show you the step-by-step solution to solve the equation. A great tool for kids/teens or anybody really, to help you out when you can't remember how a math problem is supposed to be solved. As they say, it's like having a mini Math teacher in your pocket.

PhotoMath also keeps a recently scanned history, so you can go back and see what sums you had previously scanned.

PhotoMath is limited to printed math problems, only. It will not work with handwritten equations.

PhotoMath is FREE to download from the iTunes App Store.
