How To Remove iTunes Gift of U2's Album "Songs of Innocence" From Purchases

Apple's free gift to launch the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, U2's new album "Songs of Innocence" probably showed up in your iTunes Music library recently. While it's awesome that Apple is giving away a free gift - not everyone appreciates them just adding an album to their collection. Not everyone likes the same type of music or bands, after all.

The album "Songs of Innocence" is is free to everyone until October 13th 2014. After that date - if you didn't download the songs - it'll be available for purchase.

If you just want that album gone now from your iTunes collection, Apple has posted some helpful steps.

Basically to remove the U2 album - go to: https://itunes.com/soi-remove, then click remove album and sign in, to confirm. If you remove the album and later want it back - you'll need to purchase the album.
