Tip: How To Change Computer's Wallpaper - Mac OS X



To change your Mac's wallpaper, follow these steps:

1. Open System Preferences .  Then select Desktop & Screen Saver.

(or)

1. Control+Click on your desktop's current wallpaper. Then select Change Desktop Background... 

2. From the side panel you can select a variety of things. The default Desktop Pictures provided by Apple, a plain solid color, a image from iPhoto, or a folder on your computer. Press the '+' button to add extra folders.

3. Once you've found an image you like, simply click the image - once it's previewing on your desktop - it's saved.

4. Extra options included in this window are:
- Option to change the desktop wallpaper automatically (by your chosen time) to different images in the same folder.
- The option to have the Menu Bar translucent or a solid color.
