Apple Names 'Duolingo - Learn Languages For Free' & 'Disney Animated' the 2013 Apps of the Year.

Apple has released the winners of their annual iTunes Store Awards 'Best of 2013', which includes best; Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, Books and Podcasts.

Among all the winners chosen by the Apple Editors, Apple awarded:

iPhone App of the Year: 

Duolingo - Learn Languages for Free

Duolingo is a language learning app without any ads or hidden charges, all for free. Languages include; Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and English.

iPhone Game of the Year:

A game about fishing with guns, chainsaws & toasters. Follow Billy across the continents, unlocking dozens of weapons and items.  

iPad App of Year:

From dozens of top animators, artists, technicians, and designers, Disney Animated features a hands-on experience of never before seen concept art, visual effects and more. 

iPad Game of the Year:

Badland is a side-scrolling; action, adventure game that takes place in a forest full of inhabitants, trees and flowers. But something in this forest seems to be wrong.  You play as one of the forest’s inhabitants who's off on a mission to discover what's going on.
